When the Gallery comes out of its walls to meet Les Poupees, it is an explosion of colors that seals this beautiful union between our charismatic designer pieces and a sparkling and committed clothing line.

The encounter
Like an appointment, a partnership is a unique opportunity to dialogue with creators, entrepreneurs, dreamers, and passionate people; people with whom we share these same values: authenticity, respect for know-how, and a taste for beautifully crafted pieces.
As was the case with Johanna, fashion designer and founder of Les Poupees. ; a Lyon-based brand that exudes the joy of living and which gave us a furious desire to collaborate with it for a unique and colorful photo shoot, to include our vintage furniture in deeply lively settings.
Les Poupees is a committed brand whose each piece is made by hand. Their printed fabrics come from the Lyon region while the plain fabrics are made in Italy by suppliers who have been selected for the quality of their fabrics but also their geographical proximity and their ecological commitment.

Writing the story…
Very quickly, the idea emerges : a photo shoot in the middle of nature.
In the heart of a forest with soft and warm light.
Julie, a model with whom we had worked during a previous photo shoot with Fripes Ketchup, will be the silhouette that will bring this marriage between our two universes to life.
Each piece was then selected together to create a real harmony between the Les Poupees fashion collection and our antique designer furniture.
Our Marcel Breuer armchair, designed in the 1930s and produced in the 1970s, alongside the Marni dress with its seventies-inspired print ?
Obvious !

Realization
On D-Day, the energy of the present moment creates a real emulation and our new ideas come to enrich the paintings that we had imagined beforehand; a real symbiosis is thus emerging between our pieces of furniture steeped in history and charisma, and the freshness of the pop colors and prints worn by Julie.
Behind the camera, Olive – our new partner for photography and artistic direction of Gallery 44 – immortalizes this beautiful collective creation that we are delighted to be able to present to you.
