This planter in the shape of a diabolo was designed in 1950 by Willy Guhl, a famous Swiss designer, for the company Eternit. It is composed entirely of Eternit, a stable material made from fibrous cement.
The Diabolo model was originally conceived by Anton Bee, a pupil of Willy Guhl at the School of Applied Arts in Zurich, on the association of two cones.
