Zanini De Zanine Caldas square dining table in IPE 2004
This table was designed and produced by Zanini de Zanine Caldas, famous Brazilian designer (signature present on one feet, see picture). It was made to measure for a particular order in Brazil between 2004 and 2008, it was then repatriated to France when its owners came to settle there. It has 4 legs and a square top with rounded edges, all made of IPÉ, a South American wood. At the customer's special request, 4 casters were added to the base (we can read "made in Brazil" on them).
An incredible piece of design! A real favorite for the Galerie44 team.
With his artisanal know-how instilled by his father José Zanine Caldas and his training with Sergio Rodrigues, the designer presents clean and linear pieces by encompassing new materials such as ceramics and woven textiles.
A table with a rectangular top from the same acquisition is also available.
