Description

This bookshelf was designed by Philippe Starck in 1982 in a first version published by VIA (Valorisation de l'Innovation dans l'Ameublement), it will subsequently be published by Habitat. It is made up of a vertical structure in gray lacquered steel tube on which 5 MDF shelves fit together. The whole is completed on either side of the vertical foot by a decorative half-sphere.

It has a wall mount.

This library received second prize in a competition launched in the 1980s by the Habitat brand in collaboration with VIA.

In addition to the possible use in an interior and its beautiful storage space, this bookcase is above all a coveted piece by collectors of furniture from the 80s.
