This bookcase is the B10 model by the famous cabinetmaker Pierre Chapo made in the 80s in France. It is made entirely of elm.
The B10 collection offered, at the time, the possibility of designing specific furniture for each individual, which perfectly corresponds to its use and the space for which it is intended. It was possible to select and combine the walls and equipment (doors, shelves, drawers) in order to create, according to needs, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a secretary or any other versatile piece of furniture. The version presented here is composed of the basic low structure including a hinged door on the left and four drawers on the right on which rests a tall element composed of a space closed by two hinged doors thus creating two storage niches.
The wood presents an incredible patina of time, proof of its authenticity and its history.
