Gilles Derain floor lamp model MPC edition Lumen 1980
This floor lamp, MPC model, was designed by Gilles Derain in the 80s and then produced by Lumen. Entirely in black lacquered metal, it is composed of a T-shaped base, vertical arms ending in a soft light point. The light can be modulated thanks to the present dimmer.
With its modernist design under a Japanese inspiration, this floor lamp has unique lines. The initials of his name: MPC stands for Merci Pierre Chareau, a piece made in homage to the French architect. It is a model that is one of the designer's great successes, it is now part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Montreal.
This floor lamp can be placed in a living room, a bedroom or even an office.
This fixture requires a halogen bulb.
