This desk lamp was designed by the famous designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it is part of the Washington furniture collection created to furnish the office of the French ambassador in Washington. It is made of lacquered metal and a white Plexiglas light diffuser.
A true play of geometric shapes and balance, this lamp presents an arc of a circle, a sphere, a half-sphere and a cylinder. It will bring a graphic touch to your interior.
This lamp has become a design icon in recent years.
Note, the diffuser can be oriented 360°.
"The design of the Washington lamp was born from a gesture, as if obvious. A cup balanced on a base, all linked by a ball joint" JEAN-MICHEL WILMOTTE
