Description

This lamp model 6556, with industrial style, was designed by Christian Dell in 1930 and edited by Kaiser Idell (embossed on the lampshade, picture n°5). It is composed of a structure and a lampshade in black steel and an original B22 socket.

Christian Dell was a figure of the German Bauhaus movement, he was a director of an important design studio between 1922 and 1925. He was at the origin of the success of the lamp model 6556, symbol of the excellence of the German design mixing refined materials and precision mechanism.
