Robin and Lucienne Day chairs model Royal Festival Hall edition Hille 1950 set of 4

Reference:
Description

These chairs were designed by the English designer couple Robin and Lucienne Day and edited by Hille for the Royal Festival Hall in 1950. These chairs are part of a rare series produced especially for the orchestra of this famous London hall, a light and visible thinness allowing artist dressed in formal wear to be able to sit easily. These chairs are composed of a tubular base in black metal, a wooden and foam seat covered with a grey fabric, and an ash back fixed with brass screws.

These chairs were in perfect harmony with the modern and sleek style of the concert hall.
