Jean Prouve Daybed model SCAL 452 steel and ash 1950

This exceptional piece was designed in the 1950s by the famous architect designer Jean Prouvé for the Cansado mining town in Mauritania, it is the SCAL 452 model. This daybed is made up of four cylindrical steel legs, a folded steel sheet structure, two panels with ash ends and a foam mattress covered with black cotton fabric. A headrest cushion completes the set.
This piece, preserved in its original condition, is a real collector's item!
With its clean lines, this daybed will bring elegance to your interior, it can easily be combined with a sofa in a living room, but it also offers other options for your decoration.
