These chairs, Caillebotis model, are very rare to find, it is designed by the French designer Rene Gabriel in 1943. The structure, the seat and the backrest are entirely made of oak.
These chairs are not only seats, it also has it's own history. René Gabriel drew this model on plan after a ministerial order for the victims. His aim was to achieve an model economic, simple, minimalist, and reproducible by any cabinetmaker. This chair responds to the request to furnish emergency housing after war.
It's real collectors' pieces.
