This famous bench model Cansado by Charlotte Perriand was produced by Steph Simon for the mining town Cansado in Mauritania in 1960. It is made up of a four-legged black lacquered metal base and a succession of 13 mahogany slats forming the seat.
This bench is used both as a seat but also very often as a coffee table, it's up to you to find the best place for it according to your needs. It is a piece steeped in history signed by a world famous designer / architect.
