Francis Jourdain armchairs in oak and rope 1930 set de 2

Description

This pair of armchairs was designed in the 1930s by the French designer Francis Jourdain. Entirely in oak, they are composed of four square-section legs connected by spacers, a straight backrest and hollowed-out detached armrests. The backrest and seat are in braided rope, the designer's trademark.

We love this model for plunges us directly into an ethnic chic atmosphere. They will be perfect in front of a sofa, around a coffee table for unique moments of conviviality.

Francis Jourdain's furniture is described as useful, refined and unadorned, a gamble held with this pair of minimalist style armchairs.
