This pair of low chairs was made in the 1950s in France. Entirely made of rattan, larger sections have been used for the structure and thinner ones to form a seat and backrest with soft lines.
The rattan fireside chair is THE vintage piece par excellence to have in your interior! For a bohemian chic inspiration you can add a cotton cushion with fringes, but these seats will also fit very well in a contemporary or even ethnic interior. There is no season to adopt rattan, it is timeless and never out fashion! In winter add a plaid and in summer dare to place it outside under a covered terrace!
