Armchairs model 1590 in elm edition Fritz Hansen 1940 set of 2
This magnificent pair of armchairs, model 1590, was produced in the 1940s by Fritz Hansen, the famous Danish furniture manufacturer. Made entirely from elm, it is made up of a 4-legged base, a backrest and two armrests. A unique assembly work of 8 thin logs was carried out on the backrest, making the design of these armchairs incomparable!
The structure is completed by a wide seat and a back cushion covered by a khaki fabric, changed by the previous owners a few years ago. Initially presented with a thick fur fabric, we can imagine reupholstering them.
It is even more majestic when viewed from behind. The rounded shapes of the armrests are typical of the Danish style.
Integrate collector's items into your interior with these two rare armchairs with a unique patina of time. Pieces of character!
The matching sofa is also presented in the Seating category. The set comes from a secondary house in Toulouse.
