Philippe Starck chair model Miss Dorn noir edition Disform 1982
This Miss Dorn model chair was designed by designer Philippe Starck then produced by Disform in 1982. This is the first model with a very radical and minimalist assumed style that will be part of the post-modernist movement. The design is oriented towards simplicity of design and choice of materials.
The name Miss Dorn echoes the science fiction novel Ubik by Philip K. Dick, from which Philippe Starck draws a lot of inspiration when naming his creations.
This chair consists of a black lacquered tube structure on which is placed a slab covered with a fabric with black piping.
This model is already popular with collectors and will probably tomorrow be a masterpiece of 1980 design!
You can place this chair as a decorative accessory in its own right, in an entrance, a bedroom or any other corner of the house to be furnished.
