This tripod stool was handmade in the Jimma region of Ethiopia. It was carved from a single piece of dense wood. It has a concave round seat and three curved legs, a feature that is regularly found in seats from Ethiopia.

Entirely monoxyle, it has a very pretty patina of the wood.
