Designer: Robin Day
Description: this armchair, model 675, was designed by the British designer Robin Day in 1952 for Airborne (label producer present under the seat, picture n°10). It consists of a black tubular metal structure, a foam seat covered by a grey fabric and one piece of curved molded plywood forming the backrest and the armrests.
The unique shape of the backrest gives to this chair an unmatched structural design.
Galerie44 also presents another model 675 armchair but that is covered by a black fabric and has a different patina of the backrest (photo n°12).
Condition: this product is in good vintage condition.
Restoration: the backrest of this armchair has been refinished by our cabinetmaker, the foam and the fabric have been changed by our upholsterer.
