Description

This armchair model 675 was designed in 1952 by Robin Day, an English designer, then edited by Airborne (label producer present under the seat, picture n°10). It consists of tubular metal structure lacquered in black, a foam seat covered by a black fabric and one piece of molded curved plywood that forms the backrest and the armrests.

Unique structural design for this chair whose backrest and armrests are one.

Galerie44 also presents another model 675 armchair but that is covered by a grey fabric and has a different patina of the backrest (photo n°12).
