These low tables or side tables, Volante model, were designed by Pierre Guariche, a famous French designer, then produced by Steiner in the 1950s (publisher label under the top, see photos). It is composed of a tubular base in black lacquered metal, a Formica top, 2 white 2 black. The edges and undersides of the tops are in solid teak.
It can be placed in a checkerboard pattern or one after the other, and suit your needs. We love the minimalist lines of the model.
These tables are part of the designer's iconic creations and one of the great design classics of the 20th century.
