This swivel armchair with armrests, model EA 208 of the Soft Pad collection was designed by the famous couple of designers Charles and Ray Eames and then produced by Vitra in 1970. this armchair is composed of a chromes-plated aluminum structure with a star base. The seat, backrest and cushions are covered by the original red brick fabric.
In 1960, Charles and Ray Eames revolutionized the world of chair design with their aluminum chair range. 10 years later, they launch a new collection: Soft Pad, always in aluminum but with 3 cushions. These chairs always have a very elegant profile with the aluminum but softer style with the cushions.
