These chairs, model 771, better known as "Tongue" were designed by the French designer Joseph-André Motte in 1954 for the furniture producer Steiner (label under the seat, picture n°11).

These chairs are entirely original and consist of a tubular black lacquered metal base and a wooden seat covered with foam covered with a mustard yellow velvet fabric.

These are rare pieces, notice to collectors and design enthusiasts.
